First: measure out 1 cup of washing soda and 1 cup of borax. Then pour them in a bowl.

Second: Add 1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of citric acid.

Third: mix the ingredients well. 

Fourth: pour the detergent mixture into a mason jar for storage.
